Construction-Themed Birthday Party

Today, I’m sharing this fabulous and fun construction-themed birthday party that was held at a local Touch-A-Truck event. If you’ve ever lived with a heavy machinery enthusiast,  you know what a BIG deal a hands-on event like this is. To climb on, sit in the drivers seat of and even honk the big trucks’ horns?  Stop it. There was a time in my son’s life that hanging off the back of an actual garbage truck would have been a dream realized. The kids at this third birthday celebration were no different. There was BIG fun to be had among all that BIG equipment.

I designed this invitation to spread the word to the birthday boy’s crew. When guests arrived, they each got a construction vest with instructions to tour the trucks and meet back at the “break room” at a later time.TAT-rescue-lgoo
